Flexible, economically viable, and constantly evolving Cryocooler for Research and industrial processes

Background:

CryoR was approached to develop a versatile cryocooler for laboratory applications, adaptable to varying loads and temperatures ranging from 80 to 200 K.

Solution:

We delivered a cryocooler station featuring a commercial oil-lubricated compressor with an easily replaceable cold head. The setup includes flexible tubing, currently 1.5 meters long but extendable as needed. A currently used cold-head meets the lab's immediate requirements, with the option for straightforward swapping in the future. Additionally, the mixed refrigerant, optimized for the desired cooling temperature, can be quickly altered to accommodate different temperature needs.

Results:

The cryocooler is now operational in the research lab, with its performance data being recorded for future enhancements.
